I just bought an espresso machine, and in the part where the water pours into the coffee mug, there are two spouts (just in case i want to pour into two different cups). Anyways, one of the spouts starts out pouring but then it starts to drip, whereas the other spout remains a steady stream.
i have made espresso on this thing 5 times so far and its always the same spout that drips, and I have done everything I can to ensure that its packed tightly and distributed evenly when I pack (ie, 'tamp') it. The machine comes with a spoon where you use to spoon part to scoop up the ground coffee, and you use the handle of the spoon to pack it in evenly. the handle fits the size of the container that holds the ground coffee so it's easy to pack it in evenly, or at least so I thought.
Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong? The spout doesn't appear to have blockage, it also appears to be the same size as the other spout. Thanks for any help,
