  • It's just like saving any file to disk. Create the file, click "File/Save as. Save the file to your desktop or where ever you save this type of file. Right click on the file and choose "Send to" and choose your cd burner. From here on just follow the onscreen instructions.

If you use third party burning software, open the software, navigate to the file you want to burn and burn it to the disk.

  • If you have a Paper/Hard Copy of a Manuscript you wish to put on a disc, you will need to first get the Manuscript in an electronic format. If someone already has it on a computer, obtain a copy from them else you will need to either:

Type the Manuscript into the computer

    or

Scan the Manuscript into the computer. Following is guidance.

    OCR is an option:
    Google Search OCR Software

    Free OCR Software

    OCR as a Solution

I would recommend scanning as a graphic or other compatible format and then conver to a PDF file. PDF will provid a Very good end product and make it portable to many different computer types.

The following link provides a lot of guidance, concepts and specific details for scanning.

    I Hope this Helps!!

  • Easier than drag & drop? No.

  • If it is a word/pdf document (or something similar), just copy and paste to a disc.
