  • Okay, the song "Year 3000" came out in late 2006. The Red Hot Chili Pepper's song "Dani California" was from their album "Stadium Arcadium", which came out May 2, 2006 (yes, thats EARLY 2006). Listen and compare those 2 songs, and you'll see what I mean.

  • I'm sure they gave Busted credit. There ARE laws about that kind of thing. The funny thing is, RCHP stole from Busted. lolz. =]

For those of you who didn't have to suffer through their reign of terror, Busted were a guitar wielding boyband, not dissimilar to the Jonas Brothers, but as horrible as they were, they were still a hundred times better than the Jonas Brothers will ever be. =]

  • Katy is right. Year 3000 is a cover song, the original is by Busted. and actually the riffs don't sound similar really.

  • Damn butt pirates are stealing everything

  • I believe it.

  • the begining of S.O.S is the beginig of purple haze

  • well I don't even need to listen to the song to know that it is probably very similar. Since the Jonas Bros have virtually no talent or originality you could probably pin down every single riff/song of theres to something else that had already come out...

  • The original version of "Year 3000" came out in 2002. So...you're wrong.

  • But you know that there
is a band named Busted that
made the REAL version of the song
Year 3000 and I can tell that they
    sang it better.
    And Busted's Year 3000 song
came in 2002 way earlier than Dani California
    and Year 3000- Jonas Sisters.

    OKAY!!

  • Did you know you have no life?
I just listened to both. They sound nothing a like.

  • Ok..they don't sound that similar. Yes they have similarities but it isn't like their exact.

  • theyre a little similar with the music but not the lyrics

  • the jonas brothers actually did a cover of year 3000, it wasn't their song... so they aren't riff stealers.

  • Ironically, the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Dani California 'borrowed' the same riff from Tom Petty's Mary Jane's Last Dance...lol listen to them and you'll see this is true. When the media asked Tom Petty what he thought about RHCPs using his riff, all Tom said was "everybody uses somebody else's riff...there's not that many to go around...even I use riffs from other songs....so if they're using mine, then great for them..." (not quoted exactly from memory).....

  • dont forget the song "thatswhat i go to school for"
    i love busted
    theyre amazng
