how much does a tattoo behind your ear hurt.
I hope to get one soon, but i don't know what the pain will be like. I have no tattoos at all.
what is the pain on a scale of 1-10? (1=good 10= bad)
do you think it's a painful place for a first tattoo?
any suggestions on a low pain area for a first tattoo?

Pain tolerance always depends on the individual
But, when getting tattoos, you can kinda judge by --
"The more fat the area of the body has, the less it's going to hurt"
my friend got one done too and she said it didnt hurt terribly bad, but it didnt feel good just cuz its your skull and she could hear vibrating and stuff.
it is painful 9.5
the place where ive heard its not that painful is on you back because you have more muscle there
I hardly felt mine.
However...no one can tell you if it's going to hurt or not. Everyone's pain tolerance is different.

Like everyone said, it differs from person to person, but my personal experience was that it was the least painful of all 7 of my tattoos. I was surprised at how little it hurt actually. The vibration of the machine right behind your ear is a little unsettling, but other than that, it was not a bad experience.
