Hey everybody!
Ramon Williamson here.
I've been podcasting since the fall of 2004. My studio 8) :

Right now I'm working on a multimedia ebook that's all about how to podcast for fun and profit, and I need your help!
Please take a minute, drop by http://www.podstart.com and ask your biggest question or share your favorite tool or resource. Once I'm done, I'll send you a free copy of the course.
Also, if you've got some really cool tips, I'd love to interview you. I'll also mention your podcast. (I've got about 3,200 listeners right now so it could generate a little exposure for you :-)
Thanks in advance!

Congratulations! That makes you one of podcasting's pioneers. I started podcasting back in late October of 2004 myself but I'm not familiar with your name and I can't find any reference to you on the web other than your marketing ventures. What podcasts have you done? Which podcast has the 3,200 listener base? Thanks.
he he
Not really a pioneer at all...
Truth is, my podcasting began accidentally with an idea (back in February 2004) for a subscription web site called monthlymp3.com.
To test the concept, I started creating a series of MP3s on success, motivation, business, marketing etc. called Impromptu.
My audience was mainly business owners, professionals, and sales people in my niche... and by the end of the summer, I had just over 2,000 regular listeners and a huge streaming bill. :-(
Anyway, for a number of reasons, MonthlyMP3 never got off the ground, but by the time the whole podcasting thing hit, I had a lot of content in the "perfect" format.
After a few early conversations, I decided to focus on developing and testing commercial business models for podcasting (ie niche subscriptions), and...
now that the "how-can-I-make-money-with-this" conversation has begun, I've decided to go public with some of my experiences and ideas.
That's what podstart.com is all about.
My podcasts?
If you're interested, I'm in the process of launching a "public" version of one of my subscription podcasts in April.
You can sign up for the "launch party" here:

In the meantime, be sure to ask a question over at http://www.podstart.com I think you'll find the "how to build a listener base" and the "how to profit" sections of the course innovative and very useful.
